Urban Cinema
We propose Urban Cinema to municipalities. We have prepared the Urban Cinema project to find solutions to the problems of independent cinema in terms of production and screening processes, and to open up channels for independent cinema to breathe. Forty children between the ages of 7 and 14 from Büyükada and Heybeliada Islands participated in the workshops lead by Gürşat Özdamar. We held these stopmotion workshops called, 'Children are Making Films' in cooperation with the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality FilmKoop.
We have several ongoing projects
To participate collectively in finding answers to the crisis cinema faces; to seek solutions against the problems experienced during the production or the screening processes of the independent cinema; to open channels providing relief to independent cinema.
